Priya Gupta
Dr. Priya Gupta and is a Palliative Care Physician who works practices in people’s homes through her work with the Hamilton Palliative Care Outreach Team (PCOT). She holds an academic appointment with the Division of Palliative Care at McMaster University. Her academic and clinical interests include supporting and advocating for increased equity in palliative care delivery for refugees and others who may experience structural vulnerability.

Humaira Saeed
Dr. Humaira Saeed is a Palliative Care Physician who practices in the Greater Toronto Area. Her interests include palliative care for those who experience structural vulnerability. She has academic appointments at both McMaster University and the University of Toronto.

Vilma Oliveros
Vilma Oliveros is a healthcare professional specializing in palliative care and community engagement, currently managing the GPS Health Navigators Project in partnership with The Dorothy Ley Hospice. With extensive experience spanning hospice care, bereavement support, and advocacy, she has developed expertise in serving marginalized populations through program development, education, and client-centered approaches. Her bilingual capabilities, dual bachelor's degrees in counseling and family sciences, and international presentations reflect her commitment to advancing equitable healthcare access, particularly for refugees and individuals facing life-threatening illnesses.

Esther Beatty
Esther has been working as a hospice/palliative care nurse since 2013. She worked as a community visiting nurse for 7 years and then as the intake nurse for a local hospice.
Esther is passionate about helping people navigate their palliative care journey. She currently works at a local hospice.
Esther has been involved in mentoring and teaching palliative care in both East and West Africa and currently facilitates a French speaking Community of Practice for francophone Africa. She is fluent in English, French, and Wolof.
